An Industry-first Ode to the Culture
DJ culture was born from an unshakable passion for music — crate digging, chasing the latest releases, and uniting people under the singular banner we call “the culture.” The Reloop RP-7 honors that heritage, celebrating both the community and the 7-inch singles that kept DJs and collectors at the forefront of the hottest tracks. As the first mass-produced turntable designed exclusively for 7-inch records, the direct-drive RP-7 reimagines the best of Reloop’s RP series, adapting advanced tonearm engineering and premium playback technology to suit the unique demands of a dedicated 7-inch player. Its high-torque motor, developed specifically for the RP-7, delivers near-zero wow and flutter, faithfully reproducing every detail of your favorite singles. And with gold-plated connectors plus support for all three playback speeds, you can count on pristine hi-fi sound every time you drop the needle.
Note: The Reloop RP-7 features a universal cartridge-system connection. The headshell and cartridge are sold separately. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer to learn more about compatible options.
Premium road-tested playback technologies
While the focused, high-torque 2.5kg/cm brushless DC motor was newly designed to support the precise needs of the RP-7, its array of advanced performance technologies borrows handily from the proven playback capabilities of its bigger siblings, such as the RP-7000 MK2 and RP-8000 MK2. The RP-7’s rubber-dampened internal design and height-adjustable VTA (vertical tracking angle) base undergird an ultra-precise die-cast aluminum platter, joining an advanced, integrated switching power-supply unit, collectively reducing resonance-based disruption to the utmost extent. Up top, the RP-7’s straight, hydraulic-lift copper tonearm features a statically balanced design that eschews the need for an anti-skating system, streamlining installation and immensely cutting potential margins of error during playback.
Visionary performance-focused engineering
In Reloop’s bid to honor “the culture,” as well as the rich history that defines it, the RP-7 places a premium on performance. Adding to the laser-focused playback systems and interference-mitigating chassis design, the RP-7 supports 33, 45, and 78 Rpm listening arrangements. However, Reloop knows that DJs are interested in more than just enjoying solid tunes on their own. The clickless pitch-adjustment fader supports a trio of tempo ranges: ±8%, ±16%, and ±35%. These make beat weaving, back cueing, and mix matching a breeze, while the dedicated Reset button instantly stores the platter’s speed to zero.
Built for luxe listening
Reloop spared no effort to make the RP-7 turntable a preeminently adaptable system that never compromises performance for pliability. Its gold-plated RCA output connectors, Ground terminal, IEC power inlet, and Line/Phono playback-mode switch are situated within a recessed rear-placed cavity, ensuring seamless placement in any sonic sanctuary. Plus, the included aluminum puck adapter is given a dedicated surface-mounted slot for effortless use with compatible records, while the detachable and rotatable tonearm-mounted LED provides subtle, focused illumination for visually tracking your 7-inch under virtually any lighting conditions. With its rugged, heavy-duty chassis, the Reloop RP-7 is built for the long haul, optimized to honor the rich, prismatic history of 7-inch singles and 45s that shaped “the culture” we love and enjoy today.
